Huawei works on the fastest-charging battery ever seen

The Chinese hi-tech company Huawei, one of the best smartphones companies in the world, has been working on a new lithium battery. At the 56th Battery Symposium in Nagoya, Huawei presented videos of two fast-charging power packs. The first, a 600mAh capacity battery, can be charged to 68 percent in two minutes. Another, sporting a 3,000mAh battery, charges to 48 percent in five minutes, allowing for 10 hours of calls on Huawei phones.
For the time being, the battery is bigger than a smartphone and it would require a special charger. However, this is still a prototype and Huawei is likely to solve such problem in the near future.
